Netflix has released new character images for The Blue Road, the series that brings together Son Suk Ku and Nagayama Eita as two detectives with radically different methods for solving a series of crimes that span across Korea and Japan.

Son Suk Ku plays Kim Seok, a detective from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. His character is defined by an unwavering determination that stops at nothing, neither the orders of his superiors nor the barriers between countries.
In the released images, Kim Seok is seen examining a firearm with a calm expression and an impassive gaze that reflects his cold and calculating nature.
Regarding his character, Son Suk Ku explained: He seems unbreakable on the outside, but he suffers from the internal turbulence he carries within and tries to overcome it.
Inose, the Tokyo detective
For his part, Nagayama Eita brings to life Inose, a detective from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. Unlike Kim Seok, Inose approaches cases with a more explosive and instinctive energy.
One of the new images shows him subduing a suspect in a Tokyo alleyway while passersby applaud him, a scene that summarizes his direct and passionate way of acting once his instincts are triggered.
Nagayama Eita described Inose as a character who is more passionate than anyone when it comes to a case, facing challenges until the end with a strong determination to catch the culprit.
An alliance marked by conflict
As both detectives pursue the truth behind the crimes, their professional relationship will be marked by both collaboration and clashing personalities, adding tension to the series' central plot.
