The upcoming series Love in Disguise has unveiled new stills showcasing its supporting cast, consisting of the members of Yim Si Wan's chaebol family and the detective team accompanying Seol In Ah on her undercover investigation.
Love in Disguise is a romantic suspense drama centered on Yoon Yi Jun (Yim Si Wan), an arrogant conglomerate heir who becomes a murder suspect, and Kang Jae Hee (Seol In Ah), a former special forces soldier who goes undercover as his personal secretary to investigate him.
The newly released photos contrast the cold and calculating members of Yoon Yi Jun's chaebol family with the warm and approachable detective team of Kang Jae Hee, anticipating the tension between both worlds that will drive the series' plot.
The Yoon family: power, rivalry, and corporate succession
Choi Jin Ho plays Yoon Tae Sik, father of Yoon Yi Jun and chairman of the Taegang Group. Described as a brilliant and calculating businessman, Yoon Tae Sik turned the company into one of Korea's leading corporations thanks to his sharp judgment and relentless competitive spirit. His constant evaluation of which of his children should lead the group in the future creates tension even within his own family.
Yoon Yi Jun's two older sisters maintain very different relationships with their younger brother. Hong Eun Hee plays the eldest daughter, Yoon Mi Jin, an elegant and affectionate woman who acts as a peacemaker whenever family conflicts arise, striving to maintain harmony.
Meanwhile, Park Ah In plays the second daughter, Yoon Na Jung, an ambitious woman who has fought fiercely to secure her position in a chaebol family where the eldest son and daughter usually take priority. Her suspicion toward her younger brother, Yoon Yi Jun, sparks curiosity about the conflicts that will arise between the three siblings as each pursues their own interests.
The detective team accompanying Kang Jae Hee
Opposite the coldness of the Yoon family, the investigation team is composed of much more relatable and grounded characters.
Kim In Kwon plays Park Bong Yi, leader of the Special Investigations Team, whose personal motto is to live a long life without any surprises. Although he tries to avoid trouble, he is willing to sacrifice himself for his team or for Kang Jae Hee. It is he who approves Jae Hee's dangerous undercover investigation into the murder allegations against Yoon Yi Jun, and he eventually becomes personally involved in the case, disrupting his previously quiet routine.
Kim Ki Bang plays detective Jung Wan Goo, a strong-willed police officer who trusts his fists more than strategy and enjoys chases. Despite his rough appearance, he is a reliable partner, always the first to intervene when Kang Jae Hee finds herself in trouble. To help solve the case related to Yoon Yi Jun, he goes undercover as a cleaning staff member at the Taegang Group, a mission completely opposite to his usual personality.
Nam Hae Jun plays Kim Seok Jin, an elite police officer who graduated at the top of his class at the Korean National Police University. Serene and deeply responsible, he is a trusted partner for Kang Jae Hee, for whom she has also secretly held feelings for a long time. This relationship is expected to add an extra layer of interest beyond their bond as investigators.
