tvN has unveiled a new teaser for its upcoming series Happy Anding, offering a first look at the love stories of its three lead couples. The production, starring Kang Hoon, Cho Hyun Chul, and Kim Jung Jin, will hit the screen on November 11.
Happy Anding is a coming-of-age drama centered on three comedians who have spent ten years struggling to make a name for themselves in their profession. After encountering a mysterious woman, the protagonists embark on a search for new paths in their lives.
What the new Happy Anding teaser shows
The preview focuses on the relationships of the series' three couples: Kang Tae Gu (Kang Hoon) and Go Eun Young (Lee Yi Dam), Kim Nam Il (Cho Hyun Chul) and Lee Na Yeon (Moon Hee), and Han Jun Seo (Kim Jung Jin) and Go Ji Young (Yoon Ga Yi). The teaser portrays the different ways these six young characters fall in love.
In the footage, Go Eun Young, described as the girl who just lives next door, unexpectedly bursts into Kang Tae Gu's life just as he struggles to reach a dream he has yet to fulfill.
The contrast between the three couples
The teaser also highlights the contrast between the established relationship of Kim Nam Il and Lee Na Yeon and the dynamic, still lacking apparent sparks, between Han Jun Seo and Go Ji Young.
Notably, the bold flirting of Go Ji Young stands out, as she does not give up despite Han Jun Seo's direct rejection. When he bluntly tells her she is not his type, she responds by asking him what his type is then.
For their part, Kim Nam Il and Lee Na Yeon provide tender moments thanks to the complicity of a couple who have been together for ten years. One of Lee Na Yeon's lines, in which she tells Kim Nam Il how adorably annoying he can be, reflects the affection of someone who has supported his dreams all this time.
Happy Anding premiere date
