Quinn Shephard, creator of the true-crime miniseries Under the Bridge for Hulu, debuts on Netflix with The Body, an eight-episode drama about a group of girls at a Catholic school—Anya (Kristina Butler), Elise (Sara Boustany), and Lisbeth (Geena Meszaros)—who begin to have prophetic visions after a failed initiation ritual on the dance team, triggering mass hysteria in their town.
Shephard has described the tone of the series as “camp with a lot of grit,” a teenage psychodrama with touches of Catholic horror inspired by her own adolescence.
Sunshine Girls
Netflix Premiere: December 2026.
Created by Rob Fishman and Nuria Anson, Sunshine Girls follows Olivia (Alma Marian), a teenager raised in New York who is forced to move to Valley Hills, a California suburb, after her parents' separation. There, she befriends Taylor (Isabella Fowler), a horse enthusiast, and influencer Riley (Erin Rose Park), while navigating her freshman year of high school filled with first kisses and family drama. Filming wrapped in April 2026 and the December premiere is confirmed.

Status: Expected in 2027.
Poser is an eight-episode YA drama created by Lauren Iungerich (Awkward, On My Block) that explores a toxic female friendship through an emotional and sexual thriller. The story revolves around two former best friends separated by a falling out; when one of them gets the chance to live the life she always wanted, both become trapped in a psychological game of revenge and betrayal. The cast includes Sadie Stanley (Karate Kid: Legends), Daisy Jelley (Geek Girl), and Annie Murphy (Russian Doll).
The Sticks
Status: In post-production, expected in 2027.
Set in the small town of South Dorothy, Minnesota, The Sticks follows Harper Sullivan (Michelle Monaghan), a widow, English teacher, and former figure skater who becomes the coach of the high school hockey team after her husband's death. The series, created by Nick Naveda (Say You Will), consists of eight episodes and has already finished filming.

- Sid & Zoey — Announced in August 2026, this supernatural series follows Sid, a seductive and amoral teenager from New York sent to live with a police chief's family in Mississippi, where he strikes up a relationship of resisted attraction with the chief's daughter, Zoey, as both are drawn into a supernatural mystery hidden beneath the town's idyllic facade.
- Minimum Wage — Scheduled to premiere on October 26, 2026, it is a workplace mockumentary comedy based on the viral American High Shorts, following a group of Gen Z teenagers trying to run a chaotic pizzeria in 28 short episodes.
- Camped Out — Currently in production, this ten-episode live-action YA comedy follows three teenagers working as counselors at a financially struggling summer camp to avoid repeating a grade, sowing chaos in their wake.
YA Series Returning with New Seasons
Geek Girl (Season 2)
Status: Expected in 2026, though it could slip to early 2027.
Filming for the second season took place in London during 2025 and has already concluded. Created by Holly Smale and Jessica Ruston, the series follows teenager Harriet Manners (Emily Carey) in her unexpected leap into the world of high-fashion modeling. Ginny & Georgia (Season 4)
Status: Expected in 2027.
Filming began in September 2025 and concluded in March 2026. The new season will address Marcus's rehabilitation and mental health struggles, as well as Georgia's new pregnancy, the paternity of which remains a big mystery.
My Life With the Walter Boys (Season 4)
Status: In production, expected for mid-2027.
Filming began in the summer of 2026 and is expected to finish in late November. Nikki Rodriguez (Jackie), Noah LaLonde (Cole), and Ashby Gentry (Alex) return to continue the love triangle. Showrunner Melanie Halsall has confirmed that the season will delve deeper into Cole's accident and Jackie's feelings toward Eliot.
Wednesday (Season 3)
Status: Filming, expected in 2027.
The third season moves the action from Nevermore to Paris. The entire main cast returns alongside Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams, with the additions of Eva Green, Winona Ryder, and Lena Headey. Filming began in February 2026 and is estimated to conclude in October of that same year.
All of Us Are Dead (Season 2)
Status: Expected in 2027.
The South Korean zombie series, rated TV-MA but marketed by Netflix as YA, was a massive hit in 2022, ranking among the most-watched non-English language series in the platform's history. Netflix has not yet set a release date for the second season.
Finding Her Edge (Season 2)
Status: In production.
Based on the novel by Jennifer Iacopelli, the series follows a group of ice skaters in a love triangle. The second season will move beyond the events of the original book, with the Russo team skaters moving to the Voltage Training Academy. Showrunner Jeff Norton teased that the cast already has all eight scripts and is excited about the plot. The literary sequel, On Thin Ice, will arrive in early 2027.
Crew Girl (Season 2)

With Jeff Norton as executive producer, Crew Girl shares DNA with Finding Her Edge, but replaces skates with oars. Miku Martineau plays Teagan Tao, a promising young rower who, after a family scandal, becomes the coxswain for the men's team at her new high school and gets caught in a love triangle with the team captain, Josh, and local boy, Cam. The series was quickly renewed after reaching the number two spot on the global English Top 10 with 11.3 million views.
Bet (Season 2)
Status: In production.
Before Crew Girl, Miku Martineau debuted on Netflix with Bet, a live-action adaptation of the Japanese manga and anime Kakegurui. She plays Yumeko, a transfer student who arrives at St. Dominic's boarding school seeking to avenge her parents' murder. The first season spent three consecutive weeks in the global English Top 10 series list. Filming for the second season took place in Toronto between June and August 2026.
A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder (Season 3)
Status: In post-production, expected in 2027.
Although not a Netflix original production, the platform distributes this series starring Emma Myers and based on the novels by Holly Jackson internationally. The third and final season, which adapts the book As Good as Dead, was filmed back-to-back with the second and has already finished filming.
Forever (Season 2)
