Netflix already has an extraordinarily packed catalog of original films underway for 2027, with projects ranging from Greta Gerwig's highly anticipated adaptation of Narnia: The Magician's Nephew to new installments in franchises like Grown Ups 3, Extraction 3, or The Inbetweeners 3. Several of these productions were originally scheduled for 2026 but were delayed due to the crowded schedule at the end of that year.
Among the titles that have moved to 2027 are Here Comes the Flood, starring Denzel Washington and Robert Pattinson; Lena Dunham's Good Sex, starring Natalie Portman; and Saturn Return, featuring Charles Melton and Rachel Brosnahan. Added to this is the arrival of long-awaited adaptations of intellectual properties like Gundam and the Roald Dahl universe with Charlie vs. the Chocolate Factory.
As is typical for Netflix, none of these dates are definitive. Some films are already finished and waiting for a slot in the calendar, while others remain in post-production with significant visual effects workloads. Below, we review the 20 most relevant feature films expected on the platform during 2027.
