Netflix has shared a new teaser for its upcoming series Take Charge of My Heart, starring Chae Soo Bin and Kim Young Kwang, just days before its premiere.
The production, based on a web novel, is a romantic comedy that revolves around a man whose artificial heart is running out of battery and a woman with the unique power to recharge it. Kim Young Kwang plays the cold and calculating conglomerate heir, Baek Ho Rang, while Chae Soo Bin brings the lonely screenwriter Na Bo Bae to life.
What is Take Charge of My Heart about?
According to the synopsis released by Netflix, Na Bo Bae was struck by lightning as a child, which left her body charged with electric currents. This condition prevents her from touching other people without giving them a shock. However, upon crossing paths with Baek Ho Rang, she discovers that he might be the only person immune to her electric touch.
What the new teaser shows
In the newly released preview, Na Bo Bae wakes up in a private hospital room and is surprised to find Baek Ho Rang also lying in a bed a few meters away from her. After trying to wake him up without success, she decides to cautiously test if she can touch his skin without causing an electric shock.
Seeing that Baek Ho Rang does not react at all to her touch, a hopeful Na Bo Bae begins to wonder if she has finally found a man she could actually date. But just as she is observing him closely, he startles her by suddenly opening his eyes.
The scene becomes complicated when Baek Ho Rang tries to call the police upon discovering her so close to him. Na Bo Bae rushes to stop him and tries to explain the situation, although he repeatedly insists that she leave his room.
