All of Us Are Dead Season 2 and Solo Leveling: Netflix Korea Reveals Teasers on Its Anniversary

Netflix Korea celebrated its tenth anniversary this weekend in Seoul with Netflix Janchi, a fan festival held at the Oil Tank Culture Park. After a day of games and activities, the fourth part of the live stream included a concert dedicated to hits like Squid Game and KPop Demon Hunters, before moving on to the What Next? segment, dedicated to previewing the platform's upcoming titles.

Six projects took to the stage, from Lee Chang-dong's new film, Possible Love, to the live-action adaptation of Solo Leveling, featuring figures such as Song Hye-kyo, Gong Yoo, and Byeon Woo-seok. Despite the expectations generated by local media, the event focused mainly on cast presentations rather than new audiovisual material: there was no first teaser for All of Us Are Dead Season 2, no footage of Solo Leveling, and no release dates for titles scheduled for 2027.

Even so, the panel left an important revelation for fans of All of Us Are Dead, in addition to confirmations regarding release dates and character details for several of the announced projects.

Possible Love: Lee Chang-dong’s new film arrives on Netflix on November 6

The new film by director Lee Chang-dong was presented alongside its trailer, with the four leads on stage. Sol Kyung-gu and Jeon Do-yeon play Ho-seok, a laid-off worker, and his wife Mi-ok, while Jo Yeo-jeong and Jo In-sung bring to life the documentarian Ye-ji and her husband Sang-woo.

Jeon Do-yeon explained that reading the script left a deep impression on her, comparable to a literary work, and that she followed the director's advice not to act to show off, but to express what she truly felt. Sol Kyung-gu, for his part, revealed that he accepted the role without reading the script, solely because it was a Lee Chang-dong project, and that he preferred to save the reading for later.

Jo In-sung recalled the film's festival run in Venice, Toronto, New York, Busan, and London, while Jo Yeo-jeong noted that the story poses the question of what kind of love is truly possible over the course of a lifetime and what it takes to protect it.

Possible Love has been available in select theaters since September 23 and will arrive on Netflix on November 6.

Tantara: Song Hye-kyo and Gong Yoo star in the series arriving December 11

Song Hye-kyo, Gong Yoo, and Kim Seol-hyun presented Tantara, known in Korea as Slowly and Intensely. The coming-of-age series follows a group of young people who only have dreams of fame and enter a brutal and violent stage of the Korean entertainment industry.

Song Hye-kyo plays Min-ja, a young woman who has fearlessly pursued success since childhood. Gong Yoo plays Dong-gu, willing to do anything to protect Min-ja and her dreams, while Kim Seol-hyun embodies Min-hui, a talented artist who seeks success in her own way and maintains a love-hate relationship with Min-ja.

Song described the reality portrayed by the series as “savage and violent,” but also as a story where the drive for success and mutual care shine even in the mud. The cast confirmed that Tantara will arrive on Netflix on December 11.

Grand Galaxy Hotel: the new project from the Hotel Del Luna team

Lee Do-hyun and Shin Si-a presented Grand Galaxy Hotel, the new fantasy series from the creative team behind Hotel Del Luna, set in a hotel that provides comfort to the souls of the deceased.

Lee Do-hyun plays Eun-ha, the new owner of the hotel following the disappearance of the previous owner, a character with a secret past and a rough personality who hides ulterior motives. Shin Si-a plays Sang-soon, the only human employee at the hotel, a manager who is not afraid of ghosts and uses her sales skills to attract guests and resolve their conflicts.

Both actors confirmed that Grand Galaxy Hotel will arrive on Netflix next year, although an exact date has not yet been revealed.

Beauty in the Beast: Kim Min-ju reveals the final title of the series

Kim Min-ju, Lomon, and Moon Sang-min presented Beauty in the Beast, whose final Korean title translates to Wolf Girl. Kim plays Min-su, a young wolf girl who has spent her life hiding her true nature and whose biggest dream since childhood was to go to college to make friends.

Moon Sang-min plays Hae-jun, Min-su's college classmate, while Lomon plays Do-ha, another young wolf. Kim hinted that the title has a double meaning, as just as Min-su keeps the secret of being able to transform into a wolf, the Wolf Girl herself hides a secret of her own.

No release date was offered, although Beauty in the Beast is expected to arrive on Netflix in 2027.

All of Us Are Dead Season 2: Cheong-san is still alive

The most important revelation of the event came with All of Us Are Dead Season 2. Yoon Chan-young confirmed on stage that his character, Cheong-san, is still alive, despite many fans assuming his death after the end of the first season. Park Ji-hu, who plays On-jo, reacted in the moment, assuring that she had been very worried about his return.

Park described On-jo as a young woman terrified by an “evolved” zombie crisis, but determined to protect her friends until the end. Cho Yi-hyun will continue to play Nam-ra, still a half-zombie wandering through Hyosan, while Lomon joked about Su-hyeok's return as “a great adult” after the outbreak at Hyosan High School.

Park hinted that the new season will follow the protagonists as college students and adults, facing a battle against zombies of greater scale and intensity, this time set in Seoul. No release date was announced; the series was presented only as “coming soon,” although it is expected for early 2027.

Solo Leveling: Byeon Woo-seok appears for the first time as Sung Jin-woo

Byeon Woo-seok made his first public appearance as Sung Jin-woo for the live-action adaptation of Solo Leveling. The actor noted that it was a great honor to be able to present himself to the public through such a beloved project worldwide, and that doing so precisely on the anniversary of Netflix Korea gave it special value.

Byeon confirmed that filming is underway and highlighted the effort of the cast, directors, and technical team given the enormous affection the franchise generates. Netflix recalled during the presentation that the webtoon and web novel on which the story is based have accumulated 14.3 billion views worldwide, and that the anime won multiple awards at the 2025 Crunchyroll Anime Awards.

No release window was offered, so the series is not expected to be seen before late 2027, at the earliest.
