The drama Love in Disguise has shared new photographs from its upcoming episode, teasing a tense night between its two leads.
The series is a romantic thriller centered on Yoon Yi Jun (Yim Si Wan), an arrogant chaebol heir who becomes a murder suspect, and Kang Jae Hee (Seol In Ah), a former special forces officer who goes undercover as his personal secretary to investigate him.
What has happened so far in Love in Disguise
In previous episodes, detective Kang Jae Hee applied for the executive assistant position with the goal of obtaining evidence against Yoon Yi Jun, a murder suspect and third-generation heir to a chaebol family. After overcoming numerous obstacles, she finally lands the job.
However, while inspecting Yoon Yi Jun's residence, she discovers that access to a room at the end of the second floor is strictly prohibited. Suspecting that clues related to the crime might be found there, Kang Jae Hee begins looking for the right moment to search that space.
The unexpected night between Yoon Yi Jun and Kang Jae Hee
The plot takes an unexpected turn when Yoon Yi Jun, who suffers from insomnia, orders Kang Jae Hee to stay by his side until he manages to fall asleep. Instead of refusing the request, she decides to take advantage of the situation: her plan is to get him to fall asleep as soon as possible so she can enter the forbidden room without being discovered.
The new images show Yoon Yi Jun lying in bed holding his cat Jerry, while Kang Jae Hee stands by, watching over him. While the heir looks calm and relaxed, she appears visibly uncomfortable during this unexpected overtime shift.
In other photographs, Kang Jae Hee appears sitting next to Yoon Yi Jun while he reads a book, carefully checking to see if he has finally fallen asleep during that moment of apparent meditation. The images leave open the question of whether Kang Jae Hee's plan will succeed and what secrets might be hidden behind the forbidden door.
