What happened previously in A Love Other Than Yours
In previous episodes of A Love Other Than Yours, Namgoong Ho (played by Seo Kang Jun) was deeply hurt upon learning, through Han Tae Seung (Lee Joo Ahn), about how Lee Mi Do (Ahn Eun Jin) truly felt regarding cinema. Upon discovering that Han Tae Seung had managed to "flip a switch" in Lee Mi Do's dull life, Namgoong Ho surprised everyone by suggesting she try dating Han Tae Seung before returning to him.
Lee Mi Do turns the tables
In the upcoming episode, Lee Mi Do will respond in a similar fashion, proposing that Namgoong Ho try dating Park Soo Ah (Jo Aram) and accusing him of being aware that his younger colleague has feelings for him.
After encouraging each other to see other people, the couple ends up clashing in a heated argument when Lee Mi Do appears at the mudflat where Namgoong Ho is collecting samples for his work.
The mudflat fight scene
Regarding the scene where the couple ends up struggling in the mud, Ahn Eun Jin commented: "It is a scene where both show their most honest feelings without filters, and from there, they make their next decision. It is a scene where every line of dialogue felt relatable and painful."
The actress also explained the physical challenge the shoot entailed: "Since it is a very long scene, we spent the whole day rolling in the mud while filming it. I think it stayed even more etched in my memory because it was a scene I really liked, but it was very physically demanding to shoot."
